Matt Cutts on Reciprocal Linking

Brett:
People are all about links but then there's a concern about linking to bad neighborhoods. How do you identify bad neighborhoods? Should you nofollow them or stay away totally?

Matt:
Use your gut. Trading links is natural and it's natural to have reciprocal links. At some level, natural reciprocal links happen, but if you do it way too often, it looks artificial. My advice is to go with your gut and if you're worried, you can use nofollow.

what are the plans for globalwarming awareness2007 sites?!

January 29th, 2007 by admin

We are all happy to see over 1.180.000 pages indexed by Google for globalwarming awareness2007. I suppose the overall amount will be twice or even more bigger by the end of the contest - too many sites, too much time spent and only a few among the winners.

That has moved me to think about the future of all those globalwarming awareness2007 pages - so carefully (rather carefully than not) created and polished. What do all the page owners plan to do with their masterpieces?! Just leave’em and put into oblivion or use for any other purposes?!

Who knows?! Globalwarming awareness2007 contest has attracted so many people from all over the world - and it’s time to think about “hey, we are the community!!” :)

As I understand, those participating in the contest are mostly all SEO-involved. In this case it’s sensible to use the opportunity of “I-saw-him-in-the-contest” partnership. If you are an SEO specialist and have projects to optimize and promote - don’t hesitate to contact me and other contest participants in order to build long-term partnership for SEO optimization purposes. I think those “in theme” know for sure what I mean :)
