EA has finally revealed FIFA 23 with a brand-new trailer. The title will be the last game under the FIFA banner, following which the franchise will be called EA Sports FC. Even after losing the right to use FIFA branding, EA has hundreds of licenses that allow the publisher to use over 19,000 players, 100 stadiums, 700 teams, and 30 football leagues. That being said, FIFA 23 comes with various gameplay enhancements and visual improvements. EA has announced a lot of details about the upcoming FIFA game. Additionally, for the first time in the series’ history, FIFA 23 will feature women’s football club teams and two leagues at launch, which include Barclays Women’s Super League and Division Arkena 1. The game will also get FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 as part of free post-launch updates. EA has also announced traditional game modes for FIFA 23, with some upgrades like FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Matchday Experience, Pro Clubs, Seasons, Friendlies, and Volta Football.

There is cross-play support, depending on hardware generations, with FIFA 23 as well. This means that PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC users, as well as PS4 and Xbox One, can play the game together. Cross-play is supported on all 1v1 modes like FUT, Friendlies, and Online seasons.
